About Julie

Meet Julie Predki-Weber, L.Ac, Dipl.OM, MSOM, a board certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist. Julie received her Masters Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, CO; and Bachelors Degree in Management with a Minor in Human Development from Boston College, graduating summa cum laude. Her graduate program training consisted of almost 3,500 instructional hours, over 1,000 of which were hands-on clinical training, and over 500 hours in Chinese herbal work. Her studies included training in many different TCM modalities, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutritional therapy, e-stim, tui na, cupping, moxa, and qi gong. While completing her education Julie became well-versed in treating a wide range of conditions, taking specialty clinics in orthopedic acupuncture, OBGYN/women’s health, pain management, 5 elements, HIV+/AIDS patients, pediatrics, geriatrics, and tui na. She also enriched her education outside of school by taking numerous additional weekend seminars, most focusing on orthopedic acupuncture.
Being active her whole life, Julie took a special liking to orthopedic acupuncture and has had the special privilege of apprenticing under Whitfield Reaves, OMD, L.Ac, an internationally renowned practitioner, author, and teacher, coordinating his apprenticeship programs. During this time she was able to gain a wealth of knowledge about orthopedic acupuncture and the treatment of many types of injuries, especially focusing on the shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle. Throughout the years Julie has endured numerous nagging injuries and knows what it is like to be sidelined by these, so whether you are an elite athlete, weekend warrior, or a regular "jane" who is experiencing an acute or chronic injury, Julie has the tools to help you recover faster and get moving again.
In her free time Julie enjoys crafting healthy creations in the kitchen, traveling to places new & old, hiking, skiing, getting sweaty at the gym, and of course, spending time with her husband and toddler.

Treatment Philosophy
Julie sees herself more of a health partner; helping each patient reach their highest potential well-being using the tools TCM has to offer. She believes that true healing is in the hands of the patient, as each individual’s body holds the power to heal itself. TCM gives each patient the key to unlock this healing potential. Lifestyle modifications are often needed to enhance and accelerate this healing process; and Julie will work with you to create a plan to health, keeping you on track to feel the best you have in years.
We live in a world where we are bombarded with a plethora of health information, much of which is contradictory. Yet, most health and nutrition information comes from the marketing departments of companies trying to sell you something. This information is most often misleading and not the whole truth, their goal is to pad the bottom line by making you think you need to be consuming their product. Julie believes patient education is a key part in treatment, and she will work with your individual needs and wants to better educate you not only about what is going on in your body, but how to change any harmful patterns.
